Tasya is a very happy girl, who seems to be luckier than anyone she knows. Pursuing her lifelong dream of studying music, she enters music college, content with the knowledge that although she may never become a great concert pianist, she can always teach music to children, which would be just as fulfilling for her. The story begins with Tasya’s final concert, which her mother will be attending from out of town, and for which she has sewn Tasya a new dress, a rare treat. If only they knew that the evening of celebration would turn out to be so tragic...
Boris attends a prestigious university, thanks to his stepfather’s connections, but he barely studies, because he and his band have other things on their minds, namely, fame and fortune. They want to be rockstars, and Boris will do anything to make that dream come true, even taking advantage of a young singer named Vika.
After the concert Tasya runs into trouble in the form of Boris and his band, also on their way home from the concert. The guys are drunk, and after taunting Tasya, she falls and hits her head. Not wanting to get involved, the guys run away. But once Tasya wakes up at the hospital having lost her sight, everything changes.
Based on an original screenplay, this new RWS project is a sure-fire attention grabber, as it deals with the cruel games of modern youth, ambition, love interests, and their parents’ pasts, all intertwined into one story.
