New Head of RWS St. Petersburg Studio

Dmitri Meskhiev becomes a chief producer at Russian World Studios and a creative producer at RWS St. Petersburg studio.

Yuri Yevdokimov, an ex-governor of the Murmansk Oblast, has taken the helm at the St. Petersburg branch of Russian World Studios. “After my resignation I received quite a number of proposals but I didn’t need any big-time business, I’ve already had plenty of this. I also didn’t want to hold a position just for the sake of holding it but I liked such a specific, particular project as a film studio,” Mr. Yevdokimov explained the choice he had made.

“We’ve employed a good practical manager as the studio CEO, which will allow me to focus on creative projects,” Dmitri Meskhiev commented upon the company’s decision.

Russian World Studios is one of the leading private production companies on the Russian market of film production services provision, film and TV content production and distribution. RWS studio in St. Petersburg is one of the ten largest studios in Russia.
